Yes, Yes, Yes.....

Big A just pooped in the toilet! Big Grin

This is a red-letter day at our house...we've been on the phone with grandparents, aunts, uncles, big brothers and big sisters...everyone!

Here's how we did it...took some advice from..well, now, was it here, or was it at the house party at Bishop96's house on April 12...but anyways, we told him today (since there was no school today) that we were out of diapers (we lied) and that they quit selling diapers at Target and Publix...we told him that all day today, he either had to put his poo-poos and his pee-pees in the toilet, or if we messed in the floor, he had to clean it up himself. Well, he came up to me here in my office, and I heard what I thought was running water....nope. Well, he had to clean that up. Didn't like it...I asked him how'd he'd like to have to clean up number 2...he said it'd be too yucky, and I'd have to do it. I laughed and said, "Oh, yeah, try me, buddy!" About two minutes later, he tells his dad he has to poop, so dad put him on the big toilet and next thing I hear, "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! The eagle has landed...come look!"

Yup, sure enough...I even took pictures (which you'll thank me for NOT posting), LOL. He flushed it himself, thank you very much, and then immediately looked us both dead in the face and asked, "OK, let's go get my bunny rabbit!" (Anyone remember my post about that)?

Well, this about about 8:30, too late to go to the pet shop...OMG the drama and wailing and sobbing that ensued...it was enough to peel the paint off the walls. But, the job is done...

Now, can we expect a repeat performance? Only time will tell.

But I'm sleeping a happy mommy tonight!

You're not going to put that picture in the scrap book, right? Hahahaha. Well congrats! I know what a big deal that is. We are working on the potty thing ourselves. We actually have just successfully STOPPED using the bottle altogether. I can't believe it. It's been 3 days and we're done. No more bottles for the big boy. Yay! Claps all around.

Congrats to both of you. Big Grin We have not been so successful here. I managed to get rid of the bottle for one night, but Daddy gave it back while I was out at Mom's Night Out. No luck since. And she is not ready for the potty yet. Frowner I am o.k. with it though. They grow up way too fast!
Suzy...Did you use the Nuby?

YAY!! I think you have Chris to thank for the out of diapers story..haha. We have a ton of neighborhood bunnies...would watching them be close enough to having one? We told Logan that it wouldn't be nice to take one and keep him, since they were all out running free...seems to be working for now! We still have no luck with the potty!
