Is this cute or too trendy? I am considering getting my 3-year-old's haircut next week. Is a mohawk just too Maddox Jolie?

Haha...I LOVE mohawks on little boys! My 3yo absolutely refuses to get a haircut....right now he looks like Luke Skywalker from the first movie!

Depends on what type of Mohawk you're talking about - the Maddox Jolie mohawks aren't bad - the ones that go to a point at the top. The old Mr T mohawks I think are ridiculous!

Our son is 9 months old & doesn't have much hair at the moment but we've been planning a mohawk as the first haircut since before he was conceived!

My black son was born with straight hair, just on the top of his head...a half-mohawk. When his curls came in, it was even cuter. It took a long time for the rest of his hair to come it....and then, just a few weeks ago, his big brother shaved him two great big baboon-butt bald spots, using Daddy's ear-and-nose-hair trimmer. Say it with me, "EEEWWW". Makes for a great picture and entry in the baby book, though.
