Does anyone know if Santa Fe College is having their annual Boo at the Zoo event this year?

It sure is! Here is the link for the information, and I called just to be sure.(click here). Has anyone been before? I'd be interested in hearing about how it is...

We went last year and loved it! We haven't decided if we're going again this year, but it's definitely a possibility.

It's great for younger kids too, because there are monsters, etc., but it's not too scary.

Thanx Stacy!

I went the last 2 years, and the kids (my then-1 1/2 yo daughter and 7 yo nephew) thought it was great! There is so much to see there, and I even got a kick out of some of their displays! The kids also got LOTS of candy! I'm going to be taking my girls again this year...Maybe I'll see you there?!

We went in 2006..though I can't remember why we didn't go last year. But yeah, I may take the gang again this year, now that I'll have two new ones to join in!

If I remember correctly, the admission price is just 2 canned goods. At least that is what it was in the past so its pretty cheap which is good considering the corn maze costs money and if you do the Sun Country Halloween party, it costs money too.

It does cost $4/children over 4 and adults. Is it worth it? What does everyone think? I spoke with another mom yesterday who really spoke highly of it.

The admission for Boo at the Zoo is one canned good per person. (The $4 is the regular admission for the zoo)They have never charged money that I know, it's a charity event that the zoology students put on. And it is fab. We have been for the last 3 years and will probably go again this year. It is a hoot! It doesn't look like their webpage is up to date (it gives the 2007 day) but the hours are correct. We usually get there around 3 or 4 and then go trick or treating in our neighborhood.

I understand that the admission fee used to only be a can of food. However, I guess they have decided they have to charge this year. Stacy actually called them and I assume that's where she found out. Also, I did a Google search and found another site that is reporting the same thing. Although it is actually $3/child instead of $4 like I said earlier.

Thanks for looking into it Kristin! I would love to help the Ferrero Foundation if I'm able=-)

I'm all for meeting up with someone! My sister will most likely be coming, too, and she has a 23 month old son.
