BTW...before I forget, here a few suggestions:

If you received the sign up sheet for the picnic via email...I just have a suggestion. You can buy bulk for large groups at Sam's Club (if u are a member). You will save loads of money than going to a local grocery store (including walmart). This includes drinks, plates, cups, plastic ware, meats, breads, chips, etc...etc...

I think, Suzy, once we have an idea of how many people may be coming, people can have an idea of what and how much to bring, so that there is not to much of one thing and not enough of something else. Just a suggestion. Perhaps get a confirmation RSVP and # of people coming in either per family or/and per group (family with guest).

I know there was also a suggestion of bringing a dish. Ladies..don't forget to label your bowls and casserole dishes in case someone accidentally walks off with it.

I had another idea/suggestion, but think I'll save it. I'm sure many out there have excellent suggestions and ideas to make this eventful.

Homemade ice-cream? Wow! What a treat. Now that is something to really look forward to on a hot June day.
