I am very happy to announce that Gainesville Moms now has an official playgroup that will meet weekly with Bishop96 acting as coordinator; and freyja acting as assistant. (Thank you ladies so much for helping out!)

If you would like to be a part of this play group, leave a reply here and you will be added to our master list to receive all Playgroup details.

By adding your name to the playgroup list, you will receive all playgroup details. It does not mean that you are necessarily signing up to come to every playgroup.

Also , if you have any feedback about the time, dates of the playgroup, we'd love to hear. What time is generally good for most moms?

I am interested. I don't know that I can make this one, but in general, Wednesdays are good for me.

I am interested in goining a play group and would like details on the dates and times. Wed are fine for me, we will not be at the first one though, been very sick.

I love the idea and am signing up...but Wednesdays will be sort of hit or miss for us...especially with Alex, b/c his g'pa picks him up from school on Wednesdays and Fridays, and that is their afternoon together. But for Austin, it might be just the thing, especially as we get closer to time for Andrew's surgery in the fall. Sign me up, and we'll be there when we can! Looking forward to it!

I am a new mom and excited about going to the playgroup... it may be awhile for me, but when my boy is ready I am glad we have the option since I dont know many other mothers in Gainesville.

I'm interested and If were both over being sick as all get out o wed will be there hope were better by then

Wow, That is an amazing idea, I am always looking for a great playgroup so my kids can get out of the house.

I am intersted in some more info on the playdates - my daughter loves kids and loves to play of course

I would love to bring my girls to playdates do in the evenings and on weekends since I work during the day!

The playgroup is probably going to be weekday mornings but I know Suzy is setting up family field trips for the weekends...there is a post on it

You guys, I am ironing out the details for the playgroup. I will be posting the details very soon. We had to change the afternoon time to an earlier one. So, keep an eye out for that post. I will have the information on the Master Calendar as well. (I'll repost that, too.)

The playgroup will meet 11 a.m. on Thursdays. I will PM those who said they were interested. The first playgroup will meet Thursday, May 15
