I thought this article was very interesting -- it means that if I lived in the Bay Area of California, then as a stay-at-home-dad the value of my services would be well over fifty thousand dollars.

What do you all think? Is it just charging an excessive amount for no good reason?

That's just crazy. I too had heard that Google was one of the best companies to work for because of all its benefits, including on-site daycare. Maybe not?

Day care is a tricky thing though. I pay more for day care than I do for my mortgage. But I love the place and trust them completely with my children. Can you really put a price on that?
