I just wanted to put it out there that I was head of the Transcript Evaluation Department for two years at SFCC and a lot of my friends ask me for assistance with their financial aid, advisement, or which classes will transfer into the Florida system. If anyone has any questions, I will be happy to help if I am able or give you an actual name of an actual person who can help. Those are hard to come by these days.

Thanks, but where were you last month when I needed YOU as I was being sent from one person to another... and finally having to have Ed Braddy approve my college course (to keep my teaching certification active)? Smiler

I met with a very nice transcript evaluator (for out-of-state grads) who passed me along to Braddy. Considering I truly like the former politician, I must say the day was not an entire downer.

Hard to believe I had to prove that as a 10th year Reading and English teacher (who graduated college in 1986) I am capable of taking and passing an undergraduate level reading/writing courseSmiler. What a wild 5 hours that was!

Deebird: It's usually never too late to petition. However, all petitions go through the home college, in your case Montgomery. You couldn't appeal through another college as they do not have jurisdiction over grades received elsewhere. It can be hard since there is much proof needed and often you need a letter from the teacher of the course and they move around but it's worth a try!
