Allow me to second this pat on the back. Good work, Sar... I know how hard it is to write blogs every week when you're tired out from being a parent!

Dee and Nate,
What a pleasant surprise. I come back from a couple days visiting my brother and new sister-in-law in S.C. and are greeted by such warm and friendly comments. Thank you so much!!

You're right, Nate, it is tiring. But knowing that so many other moms and dads are feeling the same way helps me get through some of the really tough times.

Sarah & Nate,
I enjoy both of your blogs and have my husband reading them as well. Thank you for taking the time to share such interesting and intimate details of your busy lives each week! I have always kept journals and got side tracked when I became a parent…just when things got really interesting! You are inspiring me to dust off my last journal, last entry the first couple weeks after we brought our son home, and catch old “dear diary” up w/ the past 4 years of my life! I think, possibly, these journals/blogs could be one of the greatest gifts we could leave our children.

Bloggers,
What's fun about your blogs is that no matter what stage of parenting we're in, your stories remind us of the meaningful details of raising and loving our children.

Thanks for sharing.

LEW, you absolutely should dust off those old journals. Not only is it therapeutic to write, but you're preserving memories that 5, 10 years from now you'll really cherish. I know I'm going to sit down one of these days and print off all the blogs I've written and keep them bound together for my boys to read one day -- it will give them a little insight into what our family was like when they were young.
