When I was a freshman in high school at 14/15 years of age, I had my first real boyfriend. Prior to that I was in middle school and "went out" with boys. Which pretty much meant I could try and sneak a hand hold or a peck in between classes or at school dances. Zach was much more than the other guys I had met up until then. I really thought he could be the one...

Well, he just contacted me through facebook. It's been nearly 15 years since we last spoke. Things ended badly and I lost touch with him. My husband was the very next guy I dated, so of course Zach stands out especially well in my mind since I don't have much of a dating history at all. I know without a doubt that I've made all of the right decisions in my personal life, but it still doesn't keep you from thinking occasionally about what might have been.

So, that leads me to my question finally...Who were your first or fondest loves? Who do you still think about occasionally...who's love letters do you still keep around etc. etc.

Well, I have no ill will towards my first love but I got a lot of ill towards my second. I really hate it because he is a local musician/composer and sometimes I'll read nate's column in the paper and I will turn the page and there will be some article about how cool my ex's music is. I guess I have a thing for the creative types. and I told yall I'm throwing a baby shower so I get the invite list from the mother to be and whose name is on the shower list but the ex's mother. What a small world! I just hope I don't ever run into him. It's been over ten years and I still hate him. Sometimes I joke that I'll bring my kids to his concerts and let them cry during his solos.

My real first love was from junior high and although i still have that teenage crush on him ...he has since been married at least 5x's since those good old days. So maybe...lol...good thing I didn't marry him.

His name was Raymond and he was a hottie back then.

I stay in touch with his brother and one of his cousins-so I keep update on his life!

I thought I was in lov may times but now that i am older an wiser I know that my childhood best friend (who also lived a mile away) is my 1st love. I always thought he deserved better than me so I pushed him away many times but to this day he is still my best friend and If he didnt have a gf I would have waited for him but now im married and he is recently single ;( but Im very happy with my husband and I know that my 1st love will always be in my life no matter what.
