YEA! I'm so excited our fall shows are coming back! Personally, I set my calendar on my phone for the premier of Grey's Anatomy. What shows are you chompin' at the bit for?

I actually rarely watch TV and when I do it is the 20/20, or 48 Hours, Dateline type stuff. I used to LOVE Six Feet Under. I need to find a new good show to sink my teeth into. It is nice for a littl escape!

I'm with you, LEW, I haven't been hooked on a show since BC (before children). I love the Law & Orders shows (the rare times I can catch them); loved Judging Amy when it was still running; and loved S&TC. Does anyone have any suggestions for something that comes on after 9 or 10 PM, that's not violent, not teeny bopperish, a good drama or comedy? Something I can latch onto pretty quickly.
Seems all I ever hear about anymore are those American Idol or Dancing with the Stars shows, which are really not up my alley.

Ok, so I don;t have much of a life but my favorite shows have been the VH1 reality shows - "I love Money", "Rock Of Love", "I Love New York. I also just started watching "Luke's. I have also noticed that those are the most talked about shows the next morning on the radio.
I also love "Law & Order CI". Has anyone heard about Chris Noth leaving and Jeff Goldblum taking his place? I heard he was asked to take a pay cut as was everyone eles and he said no. Maybe because of the strong turn out of the "Sex And The City" movie and rumors of a second one.
I also love Jeff Lewis on "Flipping Out" on Bravo, I just love his homes! He has such talent and OCD, which effects everything he does.
And of course all the paranormal shows of "Paranormal State"," Most Haunted" and "Ghost Hunters" - it is very interesting shows plus I like seeing the different locations. I would love to be able to do something like that locally.

Ok, so you know my gulity pleasures, lets hear yours.

Alright, I guess I'm the only one that's TV crazy; both hubby and I are -- it's our quality time. We watch "Chuck," "The Office," "30 Rock," "House," "My Boys." Plus the fall TV shows start right after college football season kicks off on the weekends. We can't wait until September!

My current favorite is "Army Wives" on Lifetime 10pm on Sundays. It's a soap/drama type and it's not the worlds most wonderful show, but there's always one or two characters whose storylines leave you hanging so you have to go back the next week and see what happens! Smiler

I'm looking forward to the return of "Private Practice." I never got into "Grey's" but this is the spin-off, I guess. It was several shows into it's first season when the writer's strike happened so it just stopped. I saw last night that it will be back on starting Oct. 1st. Very fun!

Oh yeah, "Men in Trees" is a favorite too!

TripleAMom: I really think you would like 'House.'

I have never watched 24 but I heard it is really great. I think I'll get the DVDs since I love skipping over the cliff hangers and I know that show is full of them. We are going through 'Earl' DVDs right now so maybe after that and the Olympics.

Mary, I gotta say that watching TV on DVD is the only way to go. Im so used to it that watching shows on TV annoys me. ("What's this commercial doing in the middle of my show?!?")

Did you know that "hour-long" network tv shows run 40 to 44 minutes? thats 20 whole minutes of commercials!

And "24" is really big on cliffhangers. The bad part about watching on DVD is that you just cant stop watching! The action never slows down long enough for you to turn off the DVD player.

Ghenier27 -- I did hear that about Jeff Goldblum going to Criminal Intent. It sounds like a good match to me; although with Vincent D'Onofrio still on there doesnt that ratchet up the weird-o factor REALLY high? Because Detective Goren is weird enough already, god bless him.

Also, did you hear that Gil Grissom is leaving "CSI" and they want to bring in the great Laurence Fishburne to replace him? That sounds interesting!
