We just bought plane tickets to NY for Thanksgiving. We are very excited as it's our first time in the big city but we are more excited about the price we got. We were on priceline.com and got tickets for half price since we were willing to travel on Thanksgiving Day. Do you have any great travel sites or pricing tricks?

I use Expedia, usually. I did some price comparisons for my upcoming annual pilgramage to Philadelphia, and didnt find any notable differences between the major sites.

No great stories. But good luck flying with your little one. We flew when my older son was a couple months old. Having a second set of hands is essential. Make sure you have extra cash -- especially now that they're charging for every little thing. I never looked it up, but now that they're charging for extra bags, does that include car seats? That would just seem wrong.

Here are the top 25 top travel sites, according to CNN at least. We switched to KAYAK.COM after reading in a finance magazine that it was rated #1 in low pricing (better than Travelosity and Expedia, which were sites we used to use).

I always use kayak.com to search for my plane tickets. It's a meta-search engine that searches all airline websites in addition to sites like expedia and travelocity. I've found some pretty good deals that way Smiler
