I finally went to my first mommy luncheon at N. Fl. Reg. and it was just as great as everyone said it would be. Free food, free advice and free venting! There was a pediatrician and lactation consultant on-hand to answer questions for 3 HOURS! It was so helpful...and you know what was the most helpful? Hearing everyone else's problems. Is it wrong that listening to others' problems breastfeeding, fussy babies etc. made me feel better? I mean I've had problems like mastitis twice, poison ivey and such but I have a great baby who rarely cries and is healthy now. I guess I just realized that despite my problems, I'm lucky and that makes me grateful.
