http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24510708/from/ET/ As an adoptive mother, a step-mother, and a step-parent who lost a beloved child, I'm crying buckets..this is a beautiful story of motherhood. Rest in peace, Angelia. |

What a story. I know my grandmother kept saying over and over after my aunt passed, "It wasn't supposed to be like this." She just couldn't get over the fact that even one of her children died before her. She couldn't stand the idea that a child could die before their parent.

I can't even begin to fathom the grief a parent must feel when they lose a child. That story was a tear-jerker! A friend of mine lost her son when he was 3 to bacterial meningitis. It all happened so quickly. It was devastating.
