NW Gainesville 3 boys (3 years, 1 year, 8 months) and a step-mom and step-grandma, too! |
I am the ultimate list-maker and the ultimate daily/weekly/monthly schedule keeper...I get panicky if I can't find my lists and if we don't stick to schedules.
Now, ask me if all this list-making and schedule-keeping makes my day, my life, my home, run any smoother than if I just randomly stumbled through life...HAHA. No, it appears it is just one more thing that I try (and fail) to keep up with, that just makes me more high-strung and upset. So if you get any really terrific answers here, I'm-a gonna be payin' attention! |

Hawthorne 3 wonderful kids! step-son (16) son (7) girl (5) |
I use a daily planner in the form of a school yearly planner. The pocket ones that are normally used for writing down school assignments, etc.
Next I only use pencil, in case something changes, which almost always does, I can erase and change. The only thing I write in pen is birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I use it to write down anything that isn't normal everyday. I don't write things like school hours, but I do write down boy scout meetings, dr's appts, school open house, etc. I find the ones for school yearly planner is better since it is yearly from August through July. I can write all the school year dates in one time. And since having kids in school now, I find my life revolves around the school year more than it used to.
