Whether you're Tom turkey, giblets or dessert, every one of us is important at Thanksgiving.

What part of Thanksgiving are you?

As for me:

You are the stuffing

You're complicated and complex, yet all your pieces fit together.
People miss you if you're gone - but they're not sure why

What Part of Thanksgiving Are You?
You Are Mashed Potatoes

Ordinary, comforting, and more than a little predictable. You're the glue that holds everyone together.

I'm pumpkin pie! Which I love, because, duh: I love pumpkin pie!

It says: "Even when people are full - they make room for you.
Good or bad, your smell is most likely to arouse a man. "

That is just too funny!

That link says I am the stuffing which is funny, the one part of the traditional meal that I don't like!! Oh well at least they miss me when I am gone, even without knowing why...lol

I thought surely I was the fruit salad...

Apparently, I am the Cranberry Sauce, blech!

Michelle, you mentioned stuffing...I have a wonderful wild rice stuffing recipe. Made with wild rice, sausage, orange juice and crazines. I'll post it if anyone is interested. It's a lot lighter than the traditional stuffing.

Apparently I'm the stuffing also which is weird because it says that you are suppose to be complicated and complex, yet all your pieces fit together. I'm far from complicated and complex! But these are really fun! Keep 'em coming Daph!

I am mashed pots! Boring and predictable it says and I think my hubby will argue that I am neither. He's always a little nervous when I'm around the fam lol! You never know what that crazy country girl is gonna say next!

I NEVER liked stuffing either until I tried this recipe:

Something about all that sausage and the crunchy apples that makes it so yummy! I would love to try yours too Casmly!

Yeah, my family has a recipe that my Grandma started and I think if I tried to introduce a new one I might be tarred and feathered. Maybe I could try some new varieties on my own and see if I like them for not just the holidays. I am willing to give new foods a shot but some people prefer to stick to tradition. Thanks for sharing some new twists to an old not-so-favorite it seems!!
