SO, hubby was able to purchase a Wii today, yay! I'm really excited. This is our big family Christmas present and thankfully hubby isn't making us wait until Christmas to open it

What I want to know is, what games are worth the money. Which ones do you like? We've got about $125.00 in gift certificates for Amazon right now and plan to spend it on games. We would love your feedback!

The Wii Fit game costs a lot but is worth every penny> My kids and I LOVE it. I 3yr plays too. Some of the other games that my kids really like are summer sports, super smach bro. brawl, and mario cart. There are so many good ones. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours!

One of my best friends has the fit game too and they play that the most out of all thier games!!

well we have it and i'll tell you you can get just about any nintendo game that you can think of from most any system if you get some points cards, connect it to broadband and download from the Wii store.

I personally like Endless Ocean, but it's not a strategy game, and really there is no plot or anything. You just steer your diver around and look at and pet fish and dolphins and whales and whatever else you come across. Of course, before you buy anything, check out the reviews on Amazon.com. They usually have a review or two that describes the game in great detail so you get a good idea of whether you would like it.

Oh!! I'm so jealous you found a Wii. Where did you get it? I've heard really great things about the Wii Fit, so that's on our short list of games as well. Is there a version of Guitar Hero for the Wii? If so, we'll probably get that one as well.

He happened upon it at Game Stop on 13th in the Walmart shopping center. He was there to order a PC game and they just happened to have them. If you go to Amazon, you can have them text message your phone when they are available on there. Hubby received a text from them this afternoon as well saying they had some in.

We were just at 13th street Walmart buying accessories, and they had a bunch of Wii's too.

I just love the Mario series. You can only get them for Nintedo systems so we've had nearly every format they offer. Target just had a special, buy 2 get one free and I got 3 Mario games. They can be so addictive.

Congrats on finding a Wii! My hubby likes Mario Kart and Mario Strikers Charged (It's a soccer game). We also have Guitar Hero for Wii, which is pretty fun!

i just saw an ad for Toys R Us saying Friday and Saturday only 50 % off on select Wii games.

My kids love the wii. Their favorite games are Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, and Legos Indiana Jones. These games also hold the interest of all, regardless of their age. My three year old loves them as much as my 14 yr, old.

Yeah, I told hubby the only game I know I want is Mario! He's got a co-worker who's going to loan us a couple of games so that we can try them out, can't wait!

That's an awesome idea. It would be a bummer to spend so much money on a game you didn't like.

We purchased a lot of our games from Blockbuster. We rent them so the kids can try them out and if they like the game I talk to the people at the store and they will usually give me a good deal on the game as it is used. I think we got Mario Galaxy for 19.99.

Wow I didn't know you could buy them from Blockbuster. I will definitely have to let my hubby know about that.
