Nope, my children didn't make the list. Actually, I had both of my children's names picked out when I was still really young. My daughter's name I picked out after watching Cocktail when I was about 10 or 12. I had also picked out the name Domonick around the same time after watching Kindergarten Cop. However, when I was dating hubby later on, he decided he didn't like that name. So, when I was 16 and he was 17, we decided on our little boys name.

Both names became more popular by the time we had the kids, but they still aren't nearly as popular as some names are. My daughter insists on being called by her nickname anyway, so this helps if there is another student in her class with the same name.

My two older sons are on a few of the international lists Smiler My youngest's name isn't. We didn't want anything too wacky or cutesy as to embarrass them when they're adults, so we stuck with traditional names. In my opinion, you can be more creative and have more fun with girl names (although Jane was one of the girl names we had picked out if we had had a girl! LOL!)

My kids' names are not on the lists. However if I was to have another son, the name I have picked out is on one of the lists.
