Oh we will be watching for sure....we are so dorky that we actually keep our own score sheets...and each of us places our votes each week on who we think should go home and who should stay. We watch this as a total family event and we DVR it until everyone is ready and then we all sit and watch together!

Man I wish I had DVR!!! How much does that cost if you have cable? I hope I make it home in time to watch...I love the first few shows with the bad auditions although I heard there won't be as many this year...

Karen that is great! I usaully have some friends over and we drink wine and eat snacks...I forget to plan it this week though. I never thought about ballots!

Mary DVR for Cox is about 17 dollars more a month...but so worth every penny.

I AM SO MAD! I love watching American Idol, and I missed it! And I forgot to record it! (Which, by the way Mary, I think our DVR is about $15 a month, but we have some kind of package.) You all have to let me know if anything big happened.

I have a season pass for it (that's what it's called on TIVO, not sure what Cox DVR calls it but you get the idea) so I don't have to remember.

I'm watching the cutie roughneck and the blind guy.

That girl in the bikini really peed me off, but she had a good gimmick. I remember her.

I have Dish Network and it is just a set timer for DVR. Once you program it to record it will record all new shows. You can program it to record all new shows on any channels, all shows regardless of new or repeats on any channel or just one particular channel or a particular show once or weekly at a certain day or time. So I have mine set to record all new AI shows on FOX so I don't ever have to remember either...even cooler, it was still set from last season!!

Gotta LOVE technology huh?!

I had a meeting last night and wasn't able to watch it, but I did DVR the show. I can't wait to get home and watch it tonight. I saw highlights this morning on Fox News. The girl in the bikini was a little much...what was the point?

To get her through to Hollywood, and unfortunatly it worked! Simon and Randy said yes predictably while Paula and Kara rolled their eyes and said 'whatever'!!!

Wow. I almost hate to admit it here, but I never really caught on to "American Idol." I think I've watched maybe one or two episodes ever (please don't bash me!!) Smiler

I think I flipped back and forth between "The Biggest Loser" and an old rerun of "House" instead.

I figured she just wanted to get on tv, but it seems like such a self demeaning way to go about it. Oh well, I still love the show! I can't help it, but I am hooked and have been since season one.

the blind child on the other hand was very sweet and touched my heart

You know crazy as it sounds I was all set to not approve of the new judge Kara, but then after watching the show I really seemed to enjoy her. I think it is nice for Paula to have some comraderie and she(Kara) seems to fit in just perfectly.
