My 20 month old still takes her pee-pie(pacifier) when she is going to sleep. We had two. They do not make this particular pacifier anymore apparently beacuse today I have looked all over this town and the internet for them. They are no longer available. I know that we should be weaning her and we had planned to soon, but not just yet. Well yesterday our puppy ate one of them so today I made a serious effort to keep the last one in the world away from him. Well she decided to give it to him while I wasn't looking. Bye, bye pee-pie. I have purchased a total of 8 pacifiers this evening and she will not take any of them. Oh and did I mention she came down with a cold yesterday so that is why I am not using this to wean her.
So, if anyone has an Evenflo Fuzion pacifier I will pay you good money for it.
Thanks,
Summer
(Mom of a frustrated and sick 20 month old daughter and a helpful 14 year old son)

Oh no! I know how kids can be about their paci's. My little boy only takes Nuks. I hope someone is able to help you out. So, did they stop making them altogether?

Yes! Can you believe it? They don't make them anymore. My son says that it is cruel to do that to babies. She actually just fell asleep thank goodness. I had to rock her a little, but she did go to sleep without one. Maybe that is it for her. I hope so.

I can so feel your pain!! Our son is almost 3 and still uses one to sleep...I know it's horrible...but he is super attach...to the point of naming it! I have no idea why..but it's name is Bob. It's actually kinda funny when it's not making me insane. We have the same exact problem...it the only one he will take period. And we happened to buy this one when we were at Disney one time, back when he would take any Nuk paci. I have been on the hunt for a new one forever..even so far as contacting a company online! I hope she will wean easily, I'm thinking mine won't Frowner

She fell asleep, but has cried out a couple of times already. It just makes it worse because she is sick. We will see. If I have pulled my hair out by morning, I will post a picture and give everyone a good laugh!

Hahaha! "Bob" That is too funny. I love it! My oldest son had called his "pine." Maybe a mixture between paci and mine? The others one simply called them paci's. Any other interesting pacifier names out there? Bob is the best I've heard so far. It's great!

What's even funnier...is trying to explain to people who "bob" is when my son is running around freaking out...yelling..where's bob, where's bob!! haha...he really cracks me up...he's the most random child! He will run into the kitchen, scream at the top of his lungs while laughing and saying things like...cows are big and carpet is brown. Then run out of the room while I stand there thinking..ummmm, what?!

I understand completely. My daughter's almost three as well and still has her paci at night time. That's are only rule about the paci. She calls it a "ta ta" named by one of her first babysitters. So anytime we are out in public and she ask for "ta ta" I think people think I'm still breastfeeding and give me strange looks. I've nearly had panic attacks at bedtime when we couldn't find one. So is the ta ta more comforting for me or for her?

OK we made it through the night, but not soundly. She slept with me. Daddy is a paramedic so he has 24 hour shifts, which made last night even more difficult with no help. She coughed, cried and kicked on and off all night. She hasn't asked for it though. I attempted to give her one of the new ones during the night and she threw it. We will see as the day goes. As I type this she just walked up and grabbed one of the new ones, put it in her mouth, took it back out and walked away. I think I'm in for a long day.
