Hi everyone,

I know some of you knew my godfather and wanted to post this here. His memorial service will be 5pm this Tuesday at the United Church of Gainesville. 1624 NW 5th AVE, between JJ Finley Elementary and 13th Street. Their phone number is 352.378.3500 if you want more information, although the office is closed on Mondays. Or you may PM me for my number, We'll be traveling most of the day tomorrow so I'll respond most/best to text messages (traveling with a 6 month old..oh boy) since travel will be hectic.

My fiancee, our son, and I are flying in from Arizona late tomorrow night. If any of you are coming, please let me know. I've felt a lot of support from a lot of you and it means so much.

We're making plans to go to Cracker Barrel afterwards for dinner and remembering the goodtimes as that was one of his favorite places. Anyone is welcome to join.

As much as it sounds odd, having a "fun" time after a memorial service is so good to do. You will be amazed at how much it will help in the days to come.. I wish we were able to join you in the laughs, but I will offer my continued well wishes and hopes that you and your family will find comfort in the days ahead.

Rachel- i really want to be there for you, but unfortunately Tim has a class at that time and I need to stay with him. We should be out by 8pm though.

Advise please.

It's the one on Archer Rd, right next to I75. I'm not sure what time we're going, as I have no idea how long the service will be, how many people I'll want to talk to, and how many people will stop me on the way to the car. Not sure how large the group at CB will be, but I'm hoping the bigger the better.
