Or do you know anyone who does?! My daughter has her heart set on an outfit for Halloween already for herself and her brother and they don't make them anywhere! I have googled, search just about every store online and nope, which is good, hopefully no one will have the same ones, she was kind of upset that other kids dressed like her last year anyway. I'm hoping to find someone who can make them for me, I will pay for supplies and work of course!! Let me know. Thanks

I may be able to help. What is it that she wants to be?? If there is a pattern I can definitely do it.

Okay, now, don't laugh, this is coming from a 4 yr old, but she wants to be Word Girl and she wants her brother to be Captain Huggy Face!! They are the newest super hero's on PBS!! I haven't found a pattern but the costumes looks really easy to make, coming from the woman who knows how to sew a button and that's it!! If you need more pics, just let me know

That does look easy, but you could probably do it without sewing. Try Target for a hooded sweatshirt and pants (I saw the shirt online, they probably have the pants in store). See if you can find a yellow pillowcase for the cape and some printable iron on t-shirt transfers to make the logo on the front of her shirt. throw in some red shoes and gloves and VIOLA! Capt. Huggy Face could be red shorts (or pants if it's cold), a long sleeved blue shirt (agian with the iron on logo) and a knit cap. Come up with something to make his antenna and fashion something for belts for both and you're good to go.

You all make me jealous! I wish I knew how to sew, but I've never even put a button on a pair of pants! I can't believe I am even admitting this, but my husband is the one who has to fix buttons in our house. Roll Eyes

I saw your post and I made my daughters Word Girl and Captain Huggy Face costumes last week and they were super easy. You can do it with out a sewing machine. Pictures are on my blog at Link . You can post there and I will write back with directions if you are interested.
