OK I was very frustrated with this since she is not a man no matter how she dresses or looks like on the outside. Her claim was that women don't have babies--people do and I was very upset because it felt like this blessed chore was being taken from us. Now I really hate him because we gave birth a day apart and he weighs less than me and doesn't have any stretch marks! I'm covered!

Yep, women have babies. No matter what, he/she was born to be a woman, and having a baby shows that her body was designed to do just that.

Oh, and about the stretchmarks - you're not alone! My stomach is covered in them! Not just a few, but tons! But they do fade after a while (a year maybe? I don't remember).

its poltical correctness gone completely gonzo! "people" have babies?!? I'll tell you what kind of "people" have babies -- "people" with ovaries! "People" with wombs!

And we have a word for those kind of "people," don't we? We call them "women."

I myself wouldn't have it any other way.

I cannot help but wonder what the child will think/feel during those troublesome teenage years. I am sure many of you were like me and were totally MORTIFIED by anything my parents did.

It's just so bizarre...and I'm usually fairly liberal with a "live and let live" attitude. But this stumps even me. Yeah, that poor child is going to have some major problems one day...that'd be my bet.

3Monkeys you are my hero for the day. I thank you and my husband, who had to deal with my crying and complaining about my ugly stomach all the time, THANKS YOU!

I also just want to say that I love everything Nate says. He is a guy who really loves and appreciates women and loves being a dad. It's cool.

Also, the article states that this person't wife/partner is the one breastfeeding due to hormone therapy. I had no idea that was possible. I guess there's a drug for nearly everything natural these days.
