OK so I know I'm not giving birth to a toddler but it sure does feel like it! I am due in just 2 weeks and I feel humongous. I have no desire to do anything but lie in bed. I want to have this perfectly clean house before baby but I don't have the energy to clean it. The only problem with staying in bed all day is that (besides the guilt I feel when my husband gets home and asks what I did) is that my hips hurt so badly I can't get comfortable so even being a bed-bum is painful!!! Did anyone else feel this way? Like you just want to cry and whine pathetically until even your unborn is so sick of hearing you that he decides to come out. I don't know if I'm going to make it two more weeks and I'll surely die if I go overdue so please tell me you were all early...

Sadly I know how you feel and I'm not due until August! If I feel like this now I can't imagine how you must feel. We're also moving in August and I'm having a hard time getting everything packed up.

I remember feeling that same way. Of course after I had both my babies I wished I hadn't tried to hurry the time along so much -- I actually really missed being pregnant after mine were born. But if it gives you any hope, both mine were early. The first by three weeks, the second by two.

My first 2 were both 2 wks early, my last 3 days late. I blame my father for that. He could never remember my DD and always said that it was July 12th, well guess what. She was born at 10:13am on July 12th. I know that it seems like you are never going to deliver but you will and as soon as that little one is here you will see how worth it it truly is/was. You poor thing.I remember that except my son decided not to come out til 9 days after his was due and I tried and tried everything to get him out I scrubbed my tub 2 days before he made his debut and the worst thing was my ob said have alot of sex which I did not want to do but I did alot and turns out he was butt brech and all I did was for nothing I had to have a c-section.My wonderful 8lb 14 oz baby cracked two of my ribs with his round lil' head.And I should of just laid in bed dont feel bad just lay around you wont get the chance once you lil' one come but it will make it all worth it.

I'm due June 30th. I went into labor the same day as my scheduled C-Section with my 2nd a week early. I'm kind of expecting to do the same thing this time, but want to last at least until my mom gets here on the 21st.

Of course, when I start making plans, things just never turn out the way I want them to! I'll probably go past my due date now!

Hang in there. Maybe there are some good stretches or excercises you can find online to help with the hip pain?

Mary....seeing that the doctors don't really know for sure when your little guy will be born ( the conflict of the 5th and the 14th)...right now I'm making a bet that you will have this baby by June 5.

but seeing that I'm related to Uncle Murphy (murphy's law) that you prbably have him by June 14. LOL

Whatever the case, when you are ready to have this young master, that you really enjoy the moments giving birth despite the pain. Because in the end, you forget the pain and be willing to do it all over again for that wonderful joy and experience.

and if u can, video tape it. Trust me, there will be moments in breathing, screaming, cursing, etc.. that you may still forget somethings (even while giving birth) and wish you can go back. I taped Tim's birth and really did not remember the doctor asking me to cut his cord. I was tired and thirsty I missed that moment. its a moment I can't take back and wish I can. But at least I know I was given the option.
