Did you find a good bargain while you were out shopping at the mall or grocery store? Do you know about a sale coming up? Share your tips with other moms here!

I'll start. I was at Publix today and a lot of staples were on sale: milk, white bread, boneless chicken breasts. My freezer is a little more stocked now. Plus, if you got a copy of The Sun, there was a $5 off coupon on the front page!

Check out Link - it's a neat website that does your sale shopping/coupon shopping for you! If you want to sign up, you can put my email address as a reference (It's super cheap to join - like $1/week) and then I get a few free weeks. Then, get your friends to join and put your email address in and life is good all around! My email is Meredith@alumni.ufl.edu
It's a pretty cool service and it can save tons of money! I don't even use the coupons and I still save $20 or more each trip to Publix.

At the mall I always try to Catch sells at The Limited. The clothes there are expensive so I depend on those sales.

I did the Grocery Game for about 5 years in CA before I moved here. It's great! I've been thinking about starting it up again. Do you use it at Publix?

Another similar site that's free is couponmom.com. I don't know how it compares with Grocery Game, though.

I don't find good mall deals for me but I do love the clearance racks at Baby Gap. I find the cutest little clothes for $3 and sometimes only $1!

Loft is pretty much my favorite clothing store, but I have to rely on sales there. There is always a pretty good sale rack in the back of the store, and there are often additional sales on top of the already-clearanced items.

Stacy: I love Loft also!! Their clearance rack is awesome, I found a beautiful dress that retails $85 for $4...that right, $4!! Just because it had a little spot under the arm, you can't even see it!!

For my kids I love going to The Childrens Place! Always great sales, 2 pair of Jeans for $22, and they are adjustable so you can buy them a size bigger if you need to! I also like Old Navy, my mom shops there for me, she can always find great things on sale there, I can't!

I know it's way out of the way for most, but I love going to the Children's Place Outlet store. I usually go to the one in Gulfport, Mississippi (like I said, FAR out of the way!), but I believe there is one in St. Augustine, and I'm sure other outlet malls have them as well. Last time I went (middle of July) I got about $150.00 worth of clothes for only 30-something dollars! There's nothing wrong with the clothes, and I usually try to stock up on items for the next year as well.
I hardly EVER buy clothes for myself anymore, so I'm useless on that topic. Smiler
As far as grocery sales go, I like hitting the BOGOs at Publix. Othar than that, I try to stick with coupons and store brand items.

prinsezz2000 you are so right! If anyone ever does get the chance to stop at a Children's Place outlet (maybe there is one in Orlando??) they have the BEST sales. They typically have pairs of kids socks with the no slip wording for .50 - 1.00. Their clearance prices on clothing are usually anywhere from $1 - $5. I find a lot more stuff for girls usually than boys though.

The Children's Place outlet is in Orlando and it rocks! We went to the outlet malls in St. Augustine last month and found so ok stuff (we LOVE going to the Disney Parks outlet there) but I like the ones in Orlando a little better. I went to Walmart last night to get some stuff and they had really cute t-shirts for my little man on clearance for $1! They had a bunch of stuff on racks in the back of the store by the women's nightgowns.

I am definitely going to have to try to visit a Children's Place outlet! I LOVE shopping there for my daughter. Their clothes are so fun and cute, and the best of all, they are not too expensive! There is actually a possibility I might be going to Orlando this weekend, so I'll have to add in a stop.

Alright, so I went by Target after work (I had to buy diapers -- I'm always buying diapers) and they had a bunch of fall/Halloween/flowers scrapbook supplies on their $1 rack. It was right inside the door, and women were grabbing it up fast. If you want to check it out, better get there fast.

Of course, if I have any leftovers from what I got, I'll share. Wink

I just bought a boatload of clothing from JCPenney.com. The summer and early fall clothes are at bargain prices (many under $9.99 each), and that's great for those of us living in Florida since we can still wear many items those in northern states have already packed away.

Go to the "Outlet" section on the website. You'll save 30-70%. If you have young girls, there are MANY clothing articles listed. I noticed there were not as much for young boys, though (although still worth a look).

I was at Target yesterday and in the back of the store past the Halloween stuff, their leftover school supplies are 75% off. There are no crayons or markers left, but there are plastic rulers for .06, tons of notebooks, book covers, and a few other odds and ends. They also had a bunch of backpacks, but I think those were 30%off.
