Do you collect anything in particular? I am curious.
I just got to thinking about this tonight and it occurred to me that I haven't really collected anything for at least 4 years.
I used to collect dolls, the porcelain kind. The reborns on ebay are awesome! But way out of my price range.

I collect dragonflies.....anything with dragonflies on it.

It is really neat because a lot of my collection has been gifts to me..each with a special meaning behind it.

My story behind my dragonfly collections.....
For years my husband and I had tried to concieve with no luck. We finally stopped all together. On day I was watching the movie "dragonfly"..If you have seen it then you know what I am talking about...if not, well check it out! lol. Anyway, I cried and cried and cried because of my unsuccessful TTCing. Two days later was my anniversary. I always took a test on special days and even though my husband and I had stopped trying I did have some left over pg test in my cabinets. I took one that morning and it showed a line I have never seen before and thought I never would have. Ever since then I have been a collector of dragonflies Smiler

Lately, I collect yarn!!

I am a knitter, I also teach knitting. I love to knit wool toys so I have a few of those hanging about, but I also have way too much yarn, so I'm saying that's what I collect now ha ha.

Meg, Mom to Alexis, 21; Jacob, 18; Elijah (PDD-NOS), 5; and Sophie, 3.

The shorter answer is what I don't collect...our old house could have passed for Sanford and Son.

Collect anything tropical and beach-y (in honor of my name and our island home); musical; cats; floral; family heirlooms; it's insane. When we moved, I had to purge my collections, it had gotten out of control. Still, I kept a lot...now my mantra is that I'm saving it all for the kids and grandkids, LOL! Smiler

I seem to be collecting little boys. 3 total so far!

Well, I don't really have any passionate collections. My husband and I went to Cancun for our honeymoon and started a seashell collection there (bought - not found except for one little bitty one!). We have bought a few here and there, particularly while we're on vacation. I inherited a collection of Blue Willow plates that were my grandma's. I also have too many lipglosses (at least 20) - and I hardly ever wear any of them. I just like buying it. Weird, I know.
