Why can't I hire someone who will come to my home and create beautiful, organized scrapbooks? Right now I have cardboard boxes full of albums, photos, paper and more. Even worse, all the pictures I've taken since the baby was born in September -- I haven't even printed them off the computer! Any hints for how I could get going on this? There's got to be an easy way.

Your problem is probably the same as mine....lack of time. I started scrapbooking about 5 years ago, before my kids came along. I scrapbooked everything BC (before children). Ever since the kids, it's simply a lack of time.

To cut down on having to be impulsively creative and put real work in to it, I bought a ton of those plastic letter size folders and labeled them with everything I could think of...Easter, Summer Time Fun, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, Birthday parties, and then each of the kids gets a book for each year (1 y/o; 2 y/o, etc.) Then I went on a massive shopping spree and bought the paper, stickers, etc. to go with each of those folders, and then organized and set up everything, all my tools, the whole she-bang. My goal was that with everything all organized and set up, ready to go, I could scrap in one or two minute increments, here and there. Yeah, right. Who was I kidding? But, hope springs eternal. One of these nights, I'll develop insomnia and when I do: LOOK OUT!

LOL...and I'm dying to start another scrapbook project! Its hard to finish the other two since family has not sent all the photos to me.

I'll be glad to do it. as long as the photos are in order, unless u just don't care.

I find it quite challenging and exciting to be creative and have stories go with it.

There is a program out there where you can create a scrapbook online and order it to be printed -only $26 for the book. But the program is $78. I saw it the other day on tv. I'm considering getting the program. Looks like it may be cheaper to do but still very creative.

safe hugz!

I have a ton of scrapbooking to do, at least 4 yrs worth, but I seem to not be able to find to do it. Maybe when they kids are with their dad this summer.

Organize supplies by holiday/theme, organize photos by month/year....

Then just make pages when you get the inspiration and put them in whatever order later Smiler
