When you guys plan vacations, where do you typically stay? We are looking into some different options, but want to find the best thing for a family of six!

I always use VRBO.com now, it's a vacation rentals by owner site and you can find great deals on houses or condos anywhere in the world. We have stayed at some really beautiful places for less than a small hotel room would have cost. Plus we have the advantage of multiple bedrooms, bath, and lots of room for the babies to play.

I also used VRBO.com site. I rented a small house in ormond beach. It was great and yes I would do it again.

This past March we rented a house on the beach (ponte vedra) with other family members. It was so great! We were right on the ocean and there was plenty of room etc. The house had anything you would need in it-not like a hotel where you have to pack EVERYTHING! It was a private house that the owners rented out. It was 2K for two weeks. However, we all chipped in and it was not too bad. It was a very big house, yuo could probbaly find a smaller one for just your family!
