...is to open this Wednesday to the general public. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!

I can assure you, I'll be the first to be there and kiss the ground.

When we moved to this area last year, I was totally shock that a town like this did not have a super walmart. Where I came from, a dinky town in central florida had 2! two!! yes two (2) super walmarts. I always went grocery shopping there because it saved me hundreds of dollars.

Since coming to Gainesville, I've tried Publix and Albertson's (the two closes to me) and it robbed my bank account big time. I'm going broke just shopping at publix.

So i don't know what other mom would like to join me early on Wednesday, the 7th at the new Super Walmart and be the first in (and to kiss the ground)....your surely welcome to join me!!

---->>>> dancing on my bed- here I come super walmart!!!!!! Yeah! yeah! yeah!!

I never really went to Walmart for groceries since G'ville never had one but you can save some serious money going there versus Publix. In today's economy every little penny helps! So yay to Super Walmart of G'ville..........finally!!

I'll have to check it out. I shop at Publix, since it's closest to me. I do miss Ralph's in CA, where they double coupons so my grocery bill was half of what it is now!

Haha....I'm excited about this one opening too...I've been out to the one in Starke a few times but it takes about 20-25 minutes to get out there.....it will be nice to not go as far. I will probably still do most of my grocery shopping at Publix though....

You know I was sitting here debating whether I want to go grocery shopping and fight that crowd or not tomorrow. I am told that you save so much shopping there..yet everytime I go to Walmart I always come out with more than I went for there for spending more money Wink I also could not find a sales ad for the new Walmart supercenter???

cmk-lol. oh just come on over and have a shopping party with me!!!

I'm sure there will be deals once we are in...the advantage of going today and early. I'm just going food shopping. I'm not even gonna think of going to the other side. Just get me some cold watermelon. I have a craving for it for some reason.

I'm about ready to jump in the shower, stop by dunkin donuts for a smoothie & water and head out there. gonna jam my music to keep me awake, and excited.

lol...even my therapist was counting the days and minutes with me. I hope she goes!! she knows how much i love SUPER WALMART!!! there is something about super walmart! walmart is ok...but superwalmart is better!

catch ya all later!!! its off I go! wish me luck!

So how was it? I went to the grand opening of the Fresh Market and decided not to do grand openings anymore lol. The sad thing is that I'm forced to go to the walmart on 13th today (someone site to store shipped a baby gift for me). And here I thought I'd never have to step foot in there again!

DH gets paid Friday and we're having a mother's day bbq on Saturday so I'll probably go on Friday evening.

I was there by 6:45am and was one the first there along with another lady and gentlemen. Most sat in cars waiting for it to open.

I did bow to the ground when I walked in...thrilled that this super walmart was finally opened.

They were passing out cake as well. When leaving they were passing out fresh baked bread. I got 4 loaves.

The prices were a big difference comparing to Publix. I saved a bundle on most things. I did get my watermelon too! My cart was so full -people were laughing at me-even the staff there. And i was not finish but my legs and feet hurt so bad and i was thirsty, I told myself to come back another time. I at least got the feel where things were at.

Today-adults can get their haircut for $10 and kids for less. for today only!! And they have a McDonalds there too.

It is a very nice store with lots in store...prices were great and it was roomy. There were so many there ready to shop and they made us wait go through that stupid ribbon cutting crap. its like- let us just shop for God's sake!!

I should had bought potatoes, and few more fresh vegetables, but by then i was so tired.

The lady who was first there- her basket was still empty. She was just comparing prices. I was telling her at publix some of these things are like 2-3 dollars more. But they have juices for like $2.00 a bottle-some for less that you just don't get at publix. especially the v8 juices. I loaded up on that!! LOL

I feel like I forgot a lot of stuff..but I'm so exhausted, I'm ready to go back to bed.

So if you have not gone down yet, I suggest to do so today. I don't know how long they passing out cake and bread and other goodies, but take adavantage of it NOW before its allllll gone!!

later!

Thanks for the review! How much was the watermelon? How big were they? I've been on a watermelon thing since December, can you tell this is a summer baby?
