Was there a pre-nup as far as you know?

I originally felt kind of bad for her...she was getting all that bad press and it seemed like she was being made the villain.....that was until I read about her behavior!! She actually dumped a cup over water over Paul's attorney's head..during court (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20184901,00.html)!! Then after she was awarded 50 million bucks plus money for a house, nanny, and the daughter's schooling...she says that her daughter (who is 4!) would "only" be getting 70,000 a year, so that means she gets to travel B class while her father chooses to travel A class....ummm...yeah...ok...that is ridiculous!!

You know, I felt really bad for her, too..her being a mom to a little one and all. But I also heard about some of her ridiculous antics with the water and how she claimed she was his "psychologist." I mean, honestly, I cannot feel bad for someone who is walking away with millions and millions and still complaining about it.

Uh, no, she doesn't deserve it. I was neutral of opinion on her up until reading about her behavior in court, and all that she asked for (money for a wine inventory)?!? She doesn't deserve it, as she has the means and ability to work and earn a living for herself. Her daughter, however, does deserve appropriate financial support (from both parents)!

You know, I totally agree with you when you say that the child deserves support from BOTH parents. I have seen it before, parents who think that the other parent should absorb ALL of the cost. How is that fair?

Hm, yes, well, unfortunately I've seen it in my own family that one party treats child support and what should be an "equitable distribution" of the assets more like a jury awarding money for emotional pain and suffering and punitive damages. I mean, it's a divorce, not a lawsuit....who ever really wins in a divorce, especially when kids are involved?
