PLAIN WHITE DUDE...sorry you feel that way. I don't see the comparison to the 'guy in shorts' scenario..that compares more to a 'Britney Spears slipping out of her car with no undies and flashing the world' situation. My advice to you since you feel that way is if you see someone who is breastfeeding don't look. I am not trying to be offensive to you...but our little guys have to eat...

klmorg...i actually dont look. i make it a point to get up and leave. YES i do understand its natural. its life happening in front of your eyes. and its as normal as anything. my view is to NOT witness it. personal opinion. sorry. and i feel that the shorts slip up is a valid comparison. i would feel the exact same in either situation. again, just my .02.
and i work out in the big "C" town....wonder if i know ya...grew up out there too... |

Two boys, ages 3 and 1 |
I always wished that I was more comfortable breastfeeding in public, but I just never got the hang of it. I felt like my boys were so hot being covered by a blanket in the middle of summer. And I always felt like people were staring -- even though I'm pretty sure they never were. Instead I just planned trips around feedings, nursed in my car or brought a bottle of pumped milk. I refused, REFUSED to ever feed my baby in a bathroom though. One day someone asked me that: "If he's hungry why don't you just go in one of the stalls and feed him?" Uh, would you go eat in a public bathroom? I don't think so!
