Wednesday at 9 p.m. we wil have a Gainesvillemoms chat! To enter the chat, go to "talk," where all the threads are listed. Then, on the menu bar, click on "Go" then "Chat Room."

Mom of the Week - Who's interested in learning about our moms?

Hi moms! I thought it was be neat if we started a "Mom of the week." We could highlight one member each week and get to know a little bit more about her and her family!

Here's how it would work:

Monday (bio) - The mom would share a short bio and tell us anything she wants to!

Tuesday (fun facts) - The mom could share 20 fun facts about herself. Likes, dislikes, whatever!

Wednesday (photos) - The mom could share photos of her and her family.

Thursday (questions) - The community could ask the mom questions. 'What do you like most about being a mom?" "What's your favorite color?" Anything!

Friday - I will randomly choose a new mom who will debut the following Monday!

Who would be interested in participating? I know I would love to learn more about our moms!

Gainesville Moms Events - Evening playgroup!

We are going to start a monthly evening playgroup! I know morning playgroups can be tough for a lot of people to attend. Again, we will be meeting with some of the Alachua County Mamas!

Our moms' night out is typically the last Friday of each month, but October is a bit crazy with Halloween and Gator Growl. I hope to see everyone there!

Recipe Swap - How do you cook pumpkin seeds?

Well, we carved our pumpkin Sunday night, and now I have a bunch of seeds. I've heard they taste pretty good cooked. Is there any trick to doing this?
